Recently there has been astonishing development in the field of AI. Everyone is talking about ChatGPT and how it will replace developers, poets, content writers,s and professionals.

Computers/Machines are becoming faster and wiser day by day. But no matter how intelligent and sophisticated computers we develop we will never be able to give them one thing which is known as “Conscious”. As we ourselves don’t know what being conscious is. It is our ability to know ourselves? I define consciousness as our operating system. Just like an operating system makes any dead piece of hardware alive, similarly, consciousness makes us humans alive. But this operating system, which runs us, is very sophisticated. This operating system runs on the fastest hardware there ever will be i.e “The brain”. The tasks which are done by state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms after being trained on millions of images, with billions of parameters, trained for days, can be performed by us in seconds. Computers and AI may beat human beings in some dedicated tasks. A calculator which was invented 1642 can beat our brains by performing some multiplication faster than us. But it will never be able to perform a calculation for which it hasn’t been programmed.

ChatGPT may write wonderful lines of poetry, because it may have learned the relationship between poetic words as thousands of poetry must have been used while training it. But it will never be able to realize its beauty of it. It doesn’t know what the hell it is writing.

The sole reason that Humans haven’t been able to build a self-driving car is that, while driving we humans can face infinite different conditions. And we are so intelligent that we can take wise decisions for every condition. But AI and computers can’t deal with infinite different conditions.

Just to let all of you guys know, I have written this article randomly without any proper research so, there may be some inconsistencies. or some statements might sound stupid or unscientific. Maybe I am a robot too.
